What we believe
Knowing what people believe and understanding why is very important. You can read about these things on this page.
Nuneaton Christian Fellowship believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died for our sins, rose again and intercedes on our behalf at the right
hand of the Father. We believe that He will return again to gather His Church to Himself.
We also believe that the Bible in it's original text is the inspired Word of God given to man.
NCF holds the following Statements of Faith:
1) The Fundamental Truths of The Elim Alliance;
2) The Statement of Faith of The Evangelical Alliance;
3) The Statement of Faith of The Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches.
NCF is a member of Nuneaton Christians Together and Elim Churches Incorporated Ltd.
We are happy to work with other organisations that consent to The Nicene Creed.
NCF is a church and registered charity that is based upon a team leadership. It is formed from Partners, a Council and Trustees:
a) Partners are individuals from aged 16 upwards who covenant to support the life of the church. They are the group that the Council and Trustees consult. NCF invites those who know the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour and who would like to explore becoming a partner to approach Paul.
b) The Church Council is concerned with the day to day running and spiritual oversight of the church. All partners of the church may attend Council meetings and are encouraged to do so. All decisions are made on a consensus basis except for the appointment of ministers.
c) The Trustees are both trustees of the charity and the body to which the council is directly responsible. At the present the Trust consists of Gill Stephenson (Chairman), Paul Wood (Secretary), Nik Howarth and Alex Bruce.
